HCM CITY — The 21st HCM City Tourism Festival officially opened on Thursday at September 23 Park in District 1.
The event brings together 32 businesses from the travel, transportation, and aviation sectors, as well as tourism agencies from 41 cities and provinces across the country. The aim is to promote tourist destinations and boost the tourism industry.
Nearly 900 tourism products and services are being offered at the festival, with discounts of up to 45% from travel agencies, hotels, tourist attractions, and other service providers.
One of the main highlights of the festival is a series of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification, featuring tour programs focusing on the culture and history of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.
Additionally, the event provides a platform for visitors to interact with, experience, and learn about the unique culture, cuisine, and products of various regions.
The festival also includes a range of community activities, art performances, and seminars designed to engage attendees and promote tourism.
The event, which is organized by the Department of Tourism in coordination with the city Tourism Association, will run until Sunday.
