LONDON, United Kingdom — Charbel Abi Antoun, Founder and Board Representative of Claims SAL, will represent the Lebanese insurance and legal technology sector at the International Trade Council Global Convocation & Leadership Forum. The three-day programme, bringing together senior business leaders, trade officials and policymakers to advance international trade, market access and export growth, takes place across various venues in London.

Claims SAL operates at the dynamic intersection of the insurance and legal technology sectors, functioning as the only end-to-end third-party motor claims administrator in Lebanon. The company delivers a comprehensive digital platform that unifies traditional insurance workflows with advanced legal technology. This proprietary system manages the entire claims lifecycle, starting from the First Notice of Loss through to final financial settlement or vehicle repair. By replacing manual administrative procedures with digitised, automated frameworks, Claims SAL dramatically accelerates turnaround times, reducing claims settlement periods from days to mere hours while simultaneously ensuring higher levels of accuracy and regulatory compliance.

A critical component of the platform’s success is its integration of artificial intelligence into the structural evaluation process. Claims SAL has established a strategic partnership with Qapter by Solera, embedding its advanced artificial intelligence tools directly into the workflow to enable photo-based damage detection and automated cost estimation. This technological integration removes subjective manual assessments from the claims process, thereby mitigating the risk of human error and deliberate fraud. By embedding these legal and technological mechanisms into every step, the platform ensures rapid, transparent and fraud-resistant claims resolution, fostering greater trust and communication among insurers, repair networks and policyholders.

At the London forum, Abi Antoun will draw upon his extensive dual expertise in commercial law and insurance technology to demonstrate how domestic service sectors can be transformed through digital innovation. Alongside his leadership at Claims SAL, he brings over two decades of legal and business experience as the Founder and Managing Partner of Beirut Law Firm. His legal practice, which holds specialised expertise in corporate law, banking, finance and insurance, has been repeatedly recognised by the credit rating agency AM Best as a top recommended insurance law practice in Lebanon. His deep understanding of cross-border corporate law, international taxation and insurance recovery positions him to provide valuable insights on navigating the legal and regulatory complexities inherent in global trade.

“The claims process represents the ultimate moment of truth for insurers, as it is the exact point where administrative delays and fraudulent activities can rapidly erode policyholder trust,” said Charbel Abi Antoun. “By digitising these workflows and embedding dispute resolution mechanisms directly into the system, we have proven that structural inefficiencies can be eradicated.

“Attending the Global Convocation presents a vital opportunity to demonstrate how this synthesis of legal frameworks and artificial intelligence can be adapted by international insurance markets. We aim to connect with global trade leaders to explore how our scalable technological architecture can bridge regulatory complexities and enhance transparency in cross-border digital services.”

The forum provides a critical platform for Claims SAL to engage with foreign direct investment agencies, international industry associations and technology partners. By showcasing the successful deployment of a fully integrated legal and claims administration platform in the Lebanese market, the company intends to explore potential export opportunities for its technology. Furthermore, the delegation will contribute to broader multilateral dialogues regarding supply chain resilience, global trade modernisation and the scalable export of domestic technological innovations.
