FTC Tackles AI Challenges in Competition and Consumer Protection

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently submitted a comment to the U.S. Copyright Office, detailing concerns about the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in relation to competition and consumer protection. This comment emphasizes the FTC’s commitment to regulating the impact of generative AI to ensure fair competition and safeguard consumer interests.
