Presented annually by the International Trade Council, the Go Global Awards recognize organizations driving excellence in international business, innovation, and growth. The program provides a global platform for networking, collaboration, and showcasing solutions that advance commerce and economic inclusion worldwide.

Founded in 2019, Esusu Africa delivers a digital thrift and credit banking platform that facilitates seamless daily savings collection through thrift collectors, savings groups, non-bank microfinance institutions, and cooperatives. The company provides structured, data-driven financial services aimed at accelerating digital financial inclusion and improving loan accessibility for underserved populations.

Esusu Africa has made significant strides in promoting economic empowerment. The platform currently serves over 150 thrift institutions, 3,000 thrift agents, and more than 400,000 savers, managing over ₦100 billion in savings deposits. By leveraging savings patterns and financial behavior insights, Esusu Africa strengthens digital financial services while expanding its reach into high-potential, often overlooked markets.

The company has gained regulatory recognition, receiving Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Regulatory Sandbox Approval, and collaborates with several ecosystem partners to enhance its impact on financial inclusion. Notable achievements include opening a northern regional office in Kaduna to accelerate platform adoption, creating strategic partnerships to support last-mile banking, and implementing advisory-led product innovations that optimize financial services for the unbanked.

Esusu Africa’s leadership team—Mr. Abdulazeez Femi Oguntoyinbo, CEO; Ms. Blessed David, Sales Executive; and Mrs. Ifeoma Annastacia Isietulugo, Thrift Collection Partner—will represent the company at the Go Global Awards. Their participation underscores Esusu Africa’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to deliver scalable financial solutions across Nigeria and beyond.

The nomination highlights the company’s role in transforming digital financial services, fostering economic empowerment, and bridging financial access gaps. With a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, Esusu Africa continues to champion initiatives that promote financial inclusion and socio-economic development.
