Work has officially started on a large new warehouse facility at Garbe Park Klášterec nad Ohří II in the Czech Republic, marking a notable expansion in industrial and logistics infrastructure in Central Europe. The hall will cover approximately 55,000 m² (about 592,000 ft²) and is being developed by a major regional industrial property specialist.
The facility will be anchored by Reckitt, a global consumer health and hygiene products manufacturer, which has signed a 10‑year lease for around 35,000 m² (376,000 ft²) and plans to occupy the space in the second quarter of 2026. This long‑term commitment underscores the site’s strategic importance for supply chain operations in the region.
Designed with modern logistics needs in mind, the hall will feature 12‑metre clear height, loading docks and direct access points that support efficient goods handling and distribution. Its location offers excellent transport connectivity, with easy access to the D7 motorway and further links to major routes such as the D8, D6 and D5, facilitating freight movements across Europe.
Sustainability is also a core focus of the development: the construction adheres to ESG criteria, EU Taxonomy standards and will pursue BREEAM certification, reflecting growing industry emphasis on environmentally responsible logistics infrastructure.
This new facility adds much‑needed Class A logistics capacity in a region where industrial real estate demand remains strong, and supports both local economic activity and broader European supply chain networks.
