A Boca Raton couple, John Fiorenzi, 63, and Jacqueline Fiorenzi, 58, are under scrutiny for allegedly possessing $414,500 worth of counterfeit merchandise. The arrest follows a comprehensive investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, initiated after receiving a Crime Stopper tip in August.
The investigation spanned several months, during which an undercover deputy conducted a fact-finding operation on September 20 at The Salon Delray, the couple’s business located at 15200 Jog Road in the Delray Beach area, as detailed in the arrest report. The tip suggested that the couple was selling luxury items at significantly lower prices than authentic products.
On October 25, the undercover deputy made purchases, acquiring a Louis Vuitton wallet, a Chanel bracelet, and Fendi glasses for a total of $165. Subsequently, on Halloween, another transaction took place, with the deputy purchasing a Louis Vuitton wallet for $80.
A search warrant executed at both their business and residence on Mohigan Circle in Boca Raton uncovered not only counterfeit items but also $150,822 in cash, 13 firearms, and 104 pounds of ammunition.
John and Jacqueline Fiorenzi each face a felony charge related to the sale of counterfeit items for less than $20,000. On Wednesday, they were released on $3,000 bonds. The charges stem from an alleged operation where the couple purportedly sold imitation luxury items at their business. The case remains under investigation.
