Growing global demand for coconut products continues to support the country’s agricultural supply chain, reinforcing the Philippines’ position as a key supplier in international markets. The positive outlook reflects confidence that strong market demand and industry resilience will help sustain export growth.
In 2025, the Philippines exported US$3.6 billion worth of coconut products, a 35.2% increase from the previous year. Coconut oil remained the country’s leading export, accounting for more than 80% of total export earnings.
Although El Niño and pest outbreaks may affect production, the industry remains optimistic that ongoing efforts to strengthen agricultural productivity and supply chain resilience will support stable exports and long-term growth.
