Supply Chain Company, headquartered in the Netherlands, continues to advance its international growth strategy with the opening of new offices in Malaga, Spain, and Leeds, United Kingdom. This expansion increases the company’s global footprint to five countries.
Founded in 2017, Supply Chain Company specializes in consultancy and implementation services within the supply chain and logistics sector. The company serves clients primarily in the retail, agriculture, food, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries.
Supported by private equity investment, Supply Chain Company aims to establish itself as a key player in the global market. The latest expansions follow earlier moves into Denmark and New Zealand, reflecting the company’s commitment to broadening its international reach.
CEO Henk Jan Rijkse highlighted that the expansion into the United Kingdom is driven by growing demand from existing clients. “The United Kingdom is a significant market for us, with numerous ongoing client projects. Establishing a local presence will allow us to enhance our customer service and support,” Rijkse stated.
The decision to open an office in Malaga is strategically focused on IT services. Malaga’s burgeoning reputation as an IT hub, supported by a strong pool of skilled professionals from local academic and technical institutions, makes it an ideal location. The new office will handle many of the company’s technical and configuration activities, serving as a hub for projects across the Iberian Peninsula. Supply Chain Company partners with notable tech platforms such as Relex Solutions and Optimity to deliver supply chain planning and solutions.
The Malaga and Leeds offices will be led by Sander Mullink and Helen Traynor, respectively. Looking ahead, the company is already planning further expansions. “We aim to combine our expertise with proximity to our clients. We plan to open an office in Germany later this year and are exploring opportunities in the United States,” Rijkse added.
