Veneto, Italy 15 October 2025 — The International Trade Council (ITC) and the Future Farming Consortium today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to fast-track collaboration between agri-innovation leaders, industry buyers, and investors worldwide.
Under the MOU, the ITC will support the Consortium and its members to:
- Meet industry partners globally through curated B2B introductions, buyer roundtables, and trade missions aligned to active procurement needs.
- Engage venture capital and strategic investors via themed investor briefings, 1:1 deal rooms, and targeted introductions to agtech, climate-tech, and supply-chain funds.
- Amplify initiatives internationally using ITC’s global PR channels, the Go Global Awards platform, and co-branded showcases.
- Build capabilities with free online education resources, including export-readiness toolkits and compliance primers for members.
- De-risk market entry with trade intelligence, tariff and rules guidance, and due-diligence support to verify partners, distributors, and customers.
- Accelerate pilots by connecting solutions to chambers, corporates, and government agencies ready to host sandboxes and early deployments.
- Strengthen ESG outcomes through supply-chain transparency support and recognition for measurable impact.
“Today’s agreement is about speed to trust, speed to pilots, and speed to scale,” said Paul Lameck Kwengwere, Board Member, International Trade Council, speaking on behalf of the ITC. “Together with the Future Farming Consortium, we will shorten the distance between promising agricultural innovations and paying customers across borders.”
The ITC also acknowledged the leadership of Enrico Franzin, of the Future Farming Consortium. “We are grateful for the Future Farming Consoirtium’s vision and partnership,” Mr. Kwengwere added. “This MOU sets a practical roadmap—investor briefings, procurement-led showcases, and market-entry sprints—to convert innovation into resilience for farmers and food systems worldwide.”
