Boon, an AI-based platform for managing commercial fleets, has secured $20.5 million in funding to improve its logistics and fleet management services. The funding, led by Marathon and Redpoint Ventures, will allow boon to enhance its offerings, which include simplifying difficult tasks like managing fuel use, organizing documents, and ensuring compliance for fleet operators.
By using artificial intelligence, boon makes operations more efficient, reducing the need for multiple tools and lowering costs for businesses. Fleets using boon have already seen savings of $7 to $10 per truck each day.
With a team of experts from major companies like Apple, Google, and Shell, boon aims to boost efficiency in various fields, including construction, field services, and food delivery. The platform is already making an impact, supporting over 6,800 vehicles and handling 170,000 loads. As the logistics industry increasingly turns to AI, boon’s solutions are set to change the way supply chains operate, offering a preview of the future of fleet management.
