Comau is set to showcase its latest advancements in robotics and automation solutions at Automate, a prominent automation exhibition held in North America. From May 6-9, 2024, Comau will be present at Chicago’s McCormick Place (Booth 4041) to introduce its new S-Family of small 6-axis articulated robots and an AI-enabled vision-based automated piece-picking solution for random objects.

Among the highlights of Comau’s showcase is the debut of the S-Family of high-speed, energy-efficient robots designed for arc welding and handling applications. These robots feature a protective water and dust-resistant design, making them suitable for a range of industrial processes including arc welding, handling, food & beverage, and general assembly.
Additionally, Comau will demonstrate its collaboration with Rockwell Automation through an automated product sorting and picking system, as well as a demo featuring the Unified Robot Control Library and Emulate3D.
Comau’s Open Controller, nominated for an Automate Innovation Award, offers advanced robot control software, providing flexibility for companies seeking to implement their own motion strategies.
Comau will also showcase its MATE-XT and MATE-XB exoskeletons designed to assist workers in lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks, enhancing both worker well-being and task efficiency.
