Taiwan has strengthened its sustainable technology supply chain with the opening of a new facility dedicated to processing and recycling end-of-life data center components. The site will support the growing demand for secure IT asset disposition (ITAD), advanced electronics recycling, and technology repair services across the Asia-Pacific region.
The new processing center is designed to improve the recovery and responsible management of high-value IT equipment, including semiconductor and GPU-related components, while supporting the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure.
By providing localized recycling and refurbishment services, the facility is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce electronic waste, and strengthen regional capabilities for sustainable technology lifecycle management.
