Serve Robotics, a company specializing in autonomous sidewalk delivery, has partnered with Shake Shack to deliver meals using Serve’s autonomous robots through the Uber Eats platform. Customers who order from select Shake Shack locations in Los Angeles via Uber Eats may now have their orders delivered by these innovative robots.
This collaboration represents a continued expansion of sidewalk robots on Uber Eats, which has been utilizing Serve’s delivery robots in Los Angeles since 2022. The partnership is expected to lead to further growth across the United States.
Touraj Parang, president and COO of Serve Robotics, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of Serve’s strategic relationships in expanding their reach and preparing for the deployment of 2,000 robots across the U.S. by 2025.
Steph So, Senior Vice President of Digital Experience at Shake Shack, highlighted the company’s commitment to using innovation to enhance customer experiences both in-store and through delivery.
