TechnoCarbon, a start-up specializing in composite materials, has been awarded the prestigious Startup Booster “Process Manufacturing and Equipment” prize at JEC World 2024. This accolade was presented by industry leaders, including Owens Corning, Airbus, Mercedes-Benz, Safran Corporate Ventures, and Techstars Sustainability Paris, recognizing the company’s innovation and excellence in the composites sector.
During the event held in Villepinte, France, TechnoCarbon showcased its cutting-edge CarbonFibreStone (Pierre-Carbone in French) technology. This innovative material, characterized as high-performance and low-carbon, represents the culmination of extensive research aimed at promoting sustainability in material usage.
Stephan Savarese, President of TechnoCarbon, expressed his pride in receiving the award, highlighting the company’s commitment to creating efficient and environmentally friendly materials. “This recognition from our industry peers serves as a motivation to advance our technological and ecological vision, enabling us to develop innovative solutions that align with our customers’ needs and environmental preservation objectives,” said Savarese.
