A seminar organized by the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (MACCIA) was held at the North Maharashtra Divisional Office in Nashik, with a focus on empowering women entrepreneurs to utilize government schemes and mentorship resources for business growth. The event saw women business owners gather to hear from prominent speakers, including Shreekant Patil, a mentor affiliated with Startup India, who emphasized the benefits of government programs available to support the launch and growth of women-led enterprises.
During his address, Patil highlighted the importance of skill development, workforce training, and marketing strategies, which he noted as key components for advancing from small to larger business ventures. North Maharashtra President of MACCIA, Shri Sanjay Sonawane, outlined various initiatives by the Chamber to foster growth opportunities specifically for women entrepreneurs. Financial assistance programs available to women-led businesses were among the resources discussed, offering insights into avenues for business expansion.
In recognition of his contributions to women’s entrepreneurship, Shreekant Patil was felicitated by MACCIA officials, including Sanjay Sonawane and Rajaram Sangle. Patil also provided guidance on effective branding, marketing strategies, and trademark registration as tools to establish a solid market presence.
The seminar included an interactive session, where Patil engaged directly with attendees, answering questions and sharing insights to help participants navigate their business journeys. The event drew a strong turnout from the business community, including executive members and prominent figures such as Sonal Dagde and Sheetal Thackeray.
