Mumbai – In a significant effort to boost India’s export capabilities, Crescendo World Wide in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized a conference at the Taj Hotel, Bandra on May 8th, 2024. The event gathered over 100 exporters and entrepreneurs from various sectors such as food, construction, and textile manufacturing, predominantly from Maharashtra. The conference featured Shreekant Patil, Chief Executive of Crescendo World Wide and an MSME Consultant, as the keynote speaker. Mr. Patil discussed the potential benefits of leveraging government schemes and industry-specific programs to bolster India’s exports. He highlighted several initiatives such as the International Cooperation Scheme, Spices Board Schemes, and ARA Schemes which are designed to support first-time exporters in expanding their market reach.
During his address, Mr. Patil emphasized the critical role of exports in achieving India’s economic goals, including its aspiration to become a leading player in the global supply chain and to advance towards a five trillion-dollar economy. He detailed how Indian MSMEs could utilize these government-backed programs to enhance their global presence. The highlight of the event was the felicitation of Mr. Patil by H.E Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, President of the SCCI, recognizing his ongoing efforts to facilitate export growth from India and his collaborations with various government and international bodies to assist Indian exporters.
In his commitment to continue supporting the export sector, Mr. Patil announced plans to replicate the successful conference model to provide further opportunities for entrepreneurs. He expressed his dedication to organizing additional events aimed at enabling new exporters and MSMEs to access diverse markets through collaboration with various export councils and nodal agencies. This event underscored the importance of strategic partnerships and knowledge sharing in enhancing the competitive edge of India’s exporters on the global stage.
