The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) has introduced the “Import from Saudi” service, aimed at connecting international importers with Saudi exporters. This initiative seeks to streamline the import process and promote Saudi products in emerging global markets. The launch of this service is part of Saudi Exports’ mission to expand the international presence of Saudi products, contributing to the sustainable growth of the Kingdom’s non-oil export sector.
Thamer Al-Mishrafi, spokesperson for Saudi Exports, emphasized the authority’s commitment to enhancing commercial opportunities for national products. He noted the significance of developing innovative solutions and supportive services to achieve the goal of increasing non-oil exports and strengthening their role in the national economy.
International importers can register on the Saudi Exports website to access a network of Saudi exporters, gather information about available products, and receive assistance in finding suitable suppliers. Upon registration, a database is created that includes the importers’ contact information and specific import requirements.
