RC Mowers, a manufacturer specializing in robotic mowers, has broadened its dealer network for autonomous mowing robots, encompassing five dealers in the United States and one in Australia.
The expansion of the dealer network supplements the existing network of RC Mowers, which already includes over 30 dealers worldwide, selling remote-controlled mowers.
The newly added dealers in the United States are Brown Equipment Company, TriGreen Equipment, Jet-Vac Equipment Company, Kinloch Equipment, and MTech, along with Colbrook Industries in Australia. These dealerships are located across various states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Australia.
Tim Kubista, the vice president of sales and marketing at RC Mowers, expressed enthusiasm for the response received from equipment resellers in the landscaping market. He noted that the technology remains relatively new in the industry but has garnered significant interest.
Kubista emphasized that the growth of the dealer network signals a demand for such technology, particularly amidst challenges related to labor shortages in the landscaping sector. He highlighted the AMR’s (autonomous mowing robot) potential to alleviate labor constraints and enhance profitability for commercial landscapers.
Acknowledging the persistent labor shortages in the industry, Kubista pointed out that the AMR enables one operator to achieve the productivity equivalent of a crew of three, presenting opportunities for increased efficiency and revenue generation.
Justin Cira, vice president of sales and marketing at MTech, underscored the innovation and growth potential of autonomous mowing as decisive factors in becoming an RC Mowers AMR dealer. He emphasized the significance of bringing this transformative technology to customers, citing its potential to address labor challenges and contractual obligations effectively.
Cira highlighted the positive feedback from MTech’s customers regarding the AMRs, emphasizing their recognition of the product’s value in overcoming labor market constraints.
Justin Kohl, president of Jet-Vac Equipment Company, praised RC Mowers’ comprehensive support, including hands-on training for sales teams and new AMR customers. He commended RC Mowers’ leadership in the industry and their commitment to customer support.
Kubista emphasized the rigorous selection process for dealers, which includes extensive training and ongoing support from the RC Mowers team throughout the sales and post-sale phases.
