Tonya McNeal-Weary, a highly accomplished professional, and a dedicated Board Member of the Business Council for Women in International Trade within the International Trade Council, is making waves in the field of international business consulting. She currently holds the position of Managing Director at IBS Global Consulting, Inc., a company operating in the realm of Professional Services and Consulting.

IBS Global Consulting is renowned for its prowess in providing advisory services and technical support to assist companies in expanding their global presence and establishing trade connections in target markets. Tonya’s journey into this industry was sparked during her MBA studies when she had the opportunity to travel to China as part of a study abroad program on Doing Business in China. This transformative experience altered her perspective on the world and ignited her passion for international business consulting. Tonya founded IBS Global Consulting in 2009 while pursuing her graduate studies.

Her extensive educational background and qualifications have been instrumental in shaping her successful career. Tonya is an Accredited Management Consultant (AMC) and a Certified Small Business Consultant. She holds an Executive Diploma in Management Consulting from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France, an MBA in International Business from Walsh College, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Davenport University in the United States.

Tonya McNeal-Weary has undertaken numerous key projects and initiatives, but one that stands out is the “Women Going Global” initiative. Through this program, her company empowers women entrepreneurs by enhancing their capacity and facilitating the growth of their businesses through international trade.
