ITC Business Council Highlights: Frank P Amoyaw

Frank P Amoyaw – Deputy Chairperson of the Business Council for Sustainability and Environment.

Frank P. Amoyaw is a non-executive board chair of Landmark Security Limited, a leading private security consulting company in Ghana, and a member of the International Trade Council (ITC). Under his leadership, Landmark Security Limited has expanded its operational reach in continental Africa while upholding the highest industry standards.

With over 15 years of experience in security policy, governance, and strategic partnerships, Frank is a passionate and an international thought leader who strives to make a positive impact in the world. He has a master’s degree in International and European Security from the University of Geneva, a Diploma in Leadership in International Security from Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP), and an executive certificate in strategic studies and operations management from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also possesses an MPH degree from the University of Ghana, along with ongoing studies in Defense and International Politics.

Frank serves as a member of the board of directors of the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Providers’ Association (ICoCA), a multi-stakeholder initiative on private security governance. In these positions, he leverages his expertise in strategic leadership, governance, policy analysis, resilience management, and advocacy to foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability among diverse stakeholders in the security sector. He has also contributed to multiple industry publications, and certifications in the field of security, international relations and global health.

Throughout his career, Frank has initiated various projects to enhance security governance, operations management and the attainment of industry certification such as ISO 9001, ISO 18788, and PSC.1. He is known for his commitment to leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, and continues to demonstrate a deep understanding of geopolitics and the ability to develop successful implementation strategies.

Looking ahead, Frank envisions industries driven by changing security landscapes and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. He emphasizes the need for innovation, thought leadership, and gender diversity in addressing current and future challenges. Outside his professional life, Frank enjoys spending time with his family, and engaging in activities that promotes diversity, inclusion, and self-well-being.
