Chancerygate has announced the practical completion of two urban logistics projects in London. The first project, Metroplex Park, is situated in Tolworth, South West London. This development features a total of 70,300 square feet of logistics space, divided into nine leasehold units ranging from 4,490 to 18,110 square feet.
The second project, Dagenham Logistics Hub, covers 172,000 square feet in East London and includes 14 units. This project was completed in collaboration with a fund managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management and global real estate investor Hines. In June 2022, the development was sold to investment manager Padrock for an undisclosed amount.
Both Metroplex Park and Dagenham Logistics Hub have achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification and an EPC ‘A+’ rating. They are also targeting net zero carbon status for regulated energy schemes.
Richard Bains, Managing Director of Chancerygate, commented: “We are pleased to have reached practical completion on these developments. Both Metroplex Park and Dagenham Logistics Hub are in areas with high demand for new, high-quality, sustainable urban logistics facilities. These developments will help meet this demand and serve as long-term economic assets for their local communities.”
