Egytrans, an established Egyptian logistics and transport provider, has teamed up with Links Investment, a significant investment firm based in Saudi Arabia, to create a joint venture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This new venture, structured as a limited liability company (LLC), is set to have a total capital of 10,000,000 Saudi Riyals (SR), with each partner holding an equal 50% share. The company is projected to commence operations by the end of the first quarter of 2024, starting with an initial capital of SR 500,000.

Based in Riyadh, the joint venture will specialize in offering comprehensive transport and logistics services, focusing particularly on the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors. It aims to capitalize on Egytrans’ extensive experience in project logistics and the diverse assets and partnerships of Links Investment. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which includes the goal of developing large-scale renewable energy projects by 2025. Abir Leheta, CEO of Egytrans, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating: “We have consistently aimed to grow our business internationally. Following our recent acquisition of NOSCO in Egypt, this partnership with Links Investment represents a strategic step into the significant Saudi market.

We are committed to providing innovative transport solutions, particularly for wind farms and other major projects, in line with our shared vision and objectives.” Mansour Al-Mobty, CEO of Links Investment, also highlighted the partnership’s potential, remarking: “We are excited about the prospects in the Saudi market and the opportunity to work with Egytrans. Our goal is to use our resources and partnerships to establish advanced logistics facilities and enhance our market presence. This collaboration is founded on shared values and a commitment to excellence, setting us up for sustainable growth and success.”

The joint venture is a pivotal development that combines the logistical prowess of Egytrans with the strategic investments of Links Investment. It aims to exploit emerging opportunities within Saudi Arabia’s logistics sector. Egytrans brings to the table its five decades of experience and a comprehensive suite of services in transportation, logistics, and project management. This partnership will enable the new entity to offer a range of solutions in the kingdom’s expanding logistics and transport market, leveraging Egytrans’ proven expertise and capabilities.
