Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan, announced the launch of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, aiming to incorporate digital solutions and boost economic productivity in the emirate.
As part of the initial phase, government entities across Dubai will appoint Chief AI Officers to oversee AI integration projects.
Additionally, a program will facilitate the establishment of data centers, alongside the introduction of a new AI company license.
To foster the AI ecosystem, initiatives such as AI weeks in schools and the establishment of dedicated AI incubators and campuses will be introduced.
The overarching goal of the plan aligns with Dubai’s economic agenda D33, targeting a Dh100 billion boost from digital transformation and a 50% increase in economic productivity.
Sheikh Hamdan commended Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for spearheading Dubai’s successful digital transformation.
Reflecting on the significance of AI evolution, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the need for adaptive action plans to harness its potential effectively.
