HANOI — The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), a significant body under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), has marked the Agricultural Supply Chain Asia conference (ASCA) 2024 as a pivotal event for Vietnamese enterprises looking to expand their global footprint in the agricultural sector. Scheduled to be held from March 18-23 in Bangkok, the conference is set to offer a platform for fostering connections, stimulating trade discussions, and unveiling business opportunities with counterparts from the US and various other countries.

Organized collaboratively by the US Grains Council, the US Wheat Associates, and the US Soybean Export Council, ASCA stands out as a crucial business-to-business platform and a notable event in the agricultural sector, especially within the Crop Calendars of Southeast Asia.

The VCCI emphasizes the unique opportunity ASCA 2024 presents for Vietnamese businesses. The event promises insights into potential partnerships and avenues for trade and business development. It is particularly aimed at enterprises involved in agriculture, import-export, transportation and logistics, grain trading, food, and feed production. Furthermore, it opens its doors to both government and private sector professionals dealing in purchasing, quality control, transportation analysis, and agribusiness consulting, seeking to broaden their networks and deepen their industry knowledge.

With an innovative approach to participation, the conference will cater to a global audience by facilitating both in-person and online attendance. This hybrid model is designed to maximize engagement and accessibility for agricultural representatives from across the globe, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive dialogue.

The agenda for ASCA 2024 is meticulously crafted to address the critical themes of sustainability and innovation within the agricultural sector. Delegates can anticipate a series of discussions and presentations aimed at sharing market updates, insights, and strategies for overcoming current challenges. A significant focus will be placed on envisioning the future trajectory of agriculture and food sectors, particularly within the dynamic landscape of Southeast Asia.

In addition to networking opportunities, the conference will feature expert-led panels, case studies, and workshops that delve into the latest trends and technologies in agriculture. These sessions are designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of the global agricultural supply chain, emphasizing the importance of sustainability and innovation in driving future growth.

As ASCA 2024 approaches, Vietnamese enterprises are encouraged to leverage this unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore new business prospects, and contribute to the shaping of a sustainable and innovative future for the global agricultural sector.
