FST Logistics, a third-party logistics provider, has announced the opening of a new warehouse facility in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of its strategy to expand nationally and enhance service capabilities across the U.S. The 383,930-square-foot facility will significantly boost FST Logistics’ storage capacity and improve supply chain efficiency for its expanding customer base in the southern U.S. region. This new site, a temperature-controlled, full-service warehouse, enables FST Logistics to better serve a variety of client needs.
Zak Hancock, COO of FST Logistics, highlighted the significance of this expansion: “Expanding outside the Midwest aligns with the needs of our customers, enabling us to mirror our Ohio operations in a secondary region to improve service, reduce costs, and support our customers’ growth.”
The facility’s location within the Dallas-Fort Worth area provides rapid access to major highways and intermodal hubs, optimizing delivery and fulfillment operations across the southern U.S. Additionally, Fort Worth’s foreign trade zone status offers supply chain benefits, including the ability to process goods with streamlined customs involvement. The warehouse will also generate new job opportunities in the Fort Worth area, with openings in warehouse operations and customer service.
Brad Wright, President of FST Logistics, noted: “Our expansion into Fort Worth is a significant milestone for FST and our customers. Having warehouse and transportation services in multiple U.S. regions allows us to keep pace with our customers’ growth and maintain our service standards.”
