SG:certified and Crucial Compliance Join Forces to Launch Anti-Money Laundering Program for the Gambling Industry

Two specialized companies in the field of gambling industry regulation, SG:certified and Crucial Compliance, have announced a collaborative effort to introduce a new anti-money laundering (AML) program.

  1. Research-Driven Approach: The program incorporates the latest research from international sources, offering insights on enhancing AML detection and prevention strategies across various global jurisdictions.
  2. Comprehensive Training Modules: The program encompasses a range of training modules, including AML education. These modules aim to equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills required for effective AML compliance.
  3. Industry-Specific Focus: Given the gambling industry’s unique characteristics, such as high volumes of financial transactions and player accounts, AML compliance is of paramount importance. The program addresses these specific compliance challenges within the industry.
  4. Collaborative Effort: Vanessa Simpson, Communications Director at SG:certified, expressed the companies’ shared commitment to making the gambling industry safer and more sustainable. The partnership between SG:certified and Crucial Compliance is aligned with this mission to create a comprehensive training and assessment program.
  5. Global Jurisdictions: Recognizing that many gambling companies operate in multiple countries and legal jurisdictions, AML compliance is crucial to meet licensing conditions and codes of practice (LCCP).
  6. In addition to this collaborative effort, SG:certified has also released 14 lessons created by Maris Catania, focusing on safer gambling. This initiative demonstrates a commitment to promoting responsible and secure gambling practices within the industry.
