Saviynt has launched its AI-driven Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) tool, integrated into its Identity Cloud platform. The new feature aims to provide organizations with comprehensive insights into their identity and access security posture, helping them identify, prioritize, and address security risks more effectively.
The ISPM tool is designed to offer visibility into both human and non-human digital identities across on-premises and cloud environments, using an AI-driven data lake. It incorporates Zero Trust principles and integrates data from identity, access, activities, policies, configurations, events, and security signals, offering a unified approach to managing identity security risks.
The solution addresses a gap in the market by extending beyond traditional Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) to encompass a broader set of identity security challenges. Saviynt asserts that while IGA is foundational, many organizations still lack a comprehensive tool for managing identity and access risks, breach prevention, and compliance.
Joseph Tyler, Senior Manager, IGA at GE HealthCare, highlighted the benefits of the ISPM tool for his organization. GE HealthCare, which became a standalone company, is leveraging ISPM to transition from a reactive to a proactive identity security approach. The company anticipates a 90% reduction in audit preparation time, enhanced detection of risks, and improved management of their identity environment.
The ISPM tool offers features designed to improve governance controls, including automated identification of roles and entitlements, cleanup of duplicate identities, and enhanced data quality. The tool also supports audit readiness by offering self-service evidence collection and tracking identity-related changes and governance history.
Vibhuti Sinha, Chief Product Officer at Saviynt, commented on the increasing volume of identity data and the rising risks associated with identity-based attacks. She emphasized that the ISPM tool is designed to help organizations proactively manage identity risks, improve data hygiene, and enhance compliance processes.
The platform’s self-service capabilities and customizable reporting features allow organizations to monitor trends, analyze program effectiveness, and generate reports without needing specialized technical resources.
Saviynt’s ISPM tool aims to help businesses reduce their identity-related attack surfaces, streamline risk remediation efforts, and improve their overall security posture by providing deeper insights into identity security and compliance.
