The 46th SIGEP World will take place from January 18–22, 2025, at the Rimini Expo Centre and will cover five main areas, one of which is coffee. Italy’s coffee industry is thriving, with more than 1,000 businesses that provide jobs for about 7,000 people and achieved a turnover of €5.2 billion in 2023. There has been a surge in coffee exports, especially roasted coffee, which added €2.3 billion to the Italian economy. However, coffee consumption at home has decreased due to higher prices. SIGEP will showcase these trends and introduce new coffee machines and other innovations in the foodservice sector.
