In the first eleven months of 2024, India’s textile exports to Vietnam reached $346.31 million, which is more than double the $172.05 million worth of imports from Vietnam. This shows a significant increase of 46.61% in exports compared to the same time last year. The largest part of these exports came from yarn, totaling $151.53 million, followed by fibre at $139.93 million and fabric at $54.86 million.
On the other hand, India’s imports of textiles from Vietnam saw an 8.51% drop during this period. Fibre made up the biggest portion of these imports, accounting for 36.97% of the total. Fabric and yarn followed closely, making up 37.12% and 25.91%, respectively.
Overall, the trend shows that India’s textile trade with Vietnam is growing stronger, with exports rising and imports falling.
