The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) recently hosted a visit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Ms. Baiba Braže, accompanied by a delegation including the Latvian Ambassador to Greece, Ms. Ieva Briede. Discussions with ENISA Executive Director, Mr. Juhan Lepassaar, centered on Latvia’s cybersecurity advancements, including the adoption of the National Cyber Security Law and the establishment of the Latvian National Cyber Security Centre.
Additionally, Moldovan cybersecurity officials, led by Mr. Mihai Lupascu, Director of the Moldovan National Cybersecurity Agency, visited ENISA. They explored the latest regional cybersecurity developments and discussed potential collaborations to enhance Moldova’s cybersecurity capabilities and resilience.
Both visits emphasized the importance of enhanced cooperation and information sharing at both political and technical levels to address current cybersecurity challenges and improve overall cybersecurity preparedness.
