A technology ecosystem serving retailers and logistics partners in the Middle East and beyond is launching a new generative AI (GenAI) platform that lets businesses integrate their product catalogues directly into AI‑powered chatbots and conversational search tools — potentially unlocking a new channel for discovery and sales.
The GenAI Platform is designed to allow retailers and brands to list and promote products inside AI chat interfaces, giving customers real‑time responses on pricing, availability and recommendations whenever they ask conversational tools such as GPT‑style assistants about specific needs (for example, “best sneakers under $200” or “where to buy a hairstyler”). This transforms everyday AI conversations into high‑intent retail experiences, expanding visibility beyond traditional web or app traffic.
Under the system’s architecture, a central controller — sometimes described as an MCP Router — routes product‑related queries from AI platforms to merchants’ own content systems and delivers ranked, contextually relevant results back to the user in real time. This creates what industry experts call conversational commerce, where chat and search become direct paths to transactions.
The initial rollout of the GenAI Platform is expected with select partners in the MENA region by late 2025, with plans to expand into Latin America and other global markets in 2026. Early adopters could see improved brand discoverability and customer engagement as AI becomes a more common channel for product inquiry and shopping.
Logistics and retail leaders see such AI‑driven channels as a way to capture shifting consumer behaviour — with conversational search increasingly replacing traditional browsing — and to supplement existing digital commerce strategies with fast, personalised interactions that can lead directly to purchase decisions.
