A businessman from Mangaldan, Pangasinan, is looking for justice after a woman he thought he could trust took two of his vehicles and pawned them. At first, she paid her rental fees on time, which led him to rent more vehicles to her in 2024 with two other people. However, by December 2024, she stopped making payments. When he asked for his vehicles back, he found out they had been pawned in La Union. The GPS trackers in the SUVs were damaged, making it impossible to locate them, and the people involved have disappeared. Local authorities are now looking into the situation and are warning other vehicle owners to be careful when renting out their cars, reminding them to verify identities and ensure all paperwork is in order.
